Sea Of Stars is set to release into PS Plus Extra and on all other platforms digitally on August 29, 2023, but for those who’d rather have a physical copy, that’ll be arriving a little later.
Developer Sabotage Studio is working with iam8bit to release a physical version for PS5 and other platforms that’ll arrive in early 2024, Sabotage announced.
If you want to stay in-the-know as to when that physical release will be available, you can sign up for iam8bit’s newsletter, which is where the information will go out first.
Even though Sea Of Stars will be available digitally for PS4, there’s no clear indication that there will be a PS4 physical copy, and for now it looks like the physical versions will be limited to Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox One/Series consoles.
Potentially poor news for anyone hoping to collect a copy of it on PS4, but at least it’s still going to be playable across all console platforms, PS4 included.
