Hexworks has been working on improving the sound effects in Lords of the Fallen, which up until now has been pretty much the only thing that folk have complained about.
The developer has provided a short clip on Twitter to illustrate the improvements made to Lords of the Fallen’s crunchy combat sounds, and from what we can tell, they’re definitely better than previous gameplay we’ve seen.
Lords of the Fallen will take full advantage of the power of Sony’s latest home console, offering Performance and Quality Modes, which prioritises 60 FPS and 1440p resolution, respectively. Meanwhile, any post-launch content for the game will be determined by player feedback, although quality-of-life improvements will be rolled out in free updates in the months after release.
CI Games will publish Lords of the Fallen for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on October 13, 2023.
