Hitman World of Assassination is set to receive a brand new update on August 17, developer IO Interactive has confirmed.
While the full patch note have not been announced yet, they will be revealed tomorrow when the update drops. The arrival of the patch will also see a maintenance period carried out, and the update is listed as clocking in at 2-5GB, so it sounds like quite a major patch.
Hitman World of Assassination is the rebranded name for Hitman 3, encompassing all three of the most recent Hitman games under one umbrella. IO is still supporting the Hitman series with frequent updates, although as for a new instalment, the company admitted that the next Hitman game is a ‘little bit on hiatus.’
Last month, IO Interactive confirmed it has expanded with the opening of a new studio on Brighton, UK.
