Larian Studios has revealed it is working to allow players to change their Baldur’s Gate III character’s appearance mid-game.
The critically acclaimed RPG doesn’t currently allow you to tinker with your character’s appearance once you have used the creation tool at the beginning of the game. So, if you aren’t happy with your hairstyle and physical attributes, you’re out of luck — at least for now.
Speaking on Twitter, Michael Douse, Larian’s director of publishing, revealed that something is “being cooked” in regards to changing your character mid-game.
Baldur’s Gate III is due for release on PS5 on September 6, 2023, and Larian has revealed that it will ship with all the fixes that have been added to the PC version since launch. Meanwhile, the development team has said that there’s no plans for an expansion yet, and while something could happen, it’s not looking too likely right now.
