CD Projekt RED has debuted a brand new Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty trailer during GamesCom Opening Night Live, which offers a glimpse at the brand new overhauled mechanics that will be implemented into the DLC, including vehicular combat, a revamped police system, redesigned perks, and much more.
That’s not all, though. Many of the features detailed in the trailer below will also find their way into the base version of Cyberpunk 2077 as a free download for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is scheduled for release on September 26, 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. CDPR has revealed that Phantom Liberty is the biggest expansion from the studio to date, and will introduce a new character played by Idris Elba, a brand new area of Night City to explore, plus of course the return of Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand.
