The Microsoft Store has revealed the Tekken 8 release date as January 26, 2024, although an official announcement by Bandai Namco Entertainment has yet to be confirmed.
Given the proximity of the leak to GameCom Opening Night Live, we are probably going to get an announcement at today’s event, as Geoff Keighley previously confirmed that the game will be featured there.
Tekken 8 has suffered a number of leaks over the past few weeks or so regarding the game’s roster, although series boss Katsuhiro Harada has revealed that much of the information is outdated.
Tekken 8 is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and focuses another clash between father and son; in this case, Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. A lot has changed since the events of Tekken 7, with Heihachi Mishima having been killed and Jin now mastering his devil powers.
