The PS5 Is Getting Another Temporary Price Cut In Select European Territories This Week

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed that it will be introducing another round of temporary price cuts for the PS5 in select European regions this week.

The standard PS5 will benefit from a €100 price cut in Spain and Portugal, and will be available from PlayStation Direct and retailers for €449.99. The promotion will run from August 25 — September 7 in both regions.

The price cut comes following Sony’s previous PS5 discount earlier this summer, which saw the console reduced by £75 in the UK. As a result, sales of Sony’s flagship console jumped 75% following the price cut, while year-on-year sales for July were up 68%. PS5 sales in Europe mean were up a massive 244% year-on-year for the same month.
